I made a dress!
I've just completed a 3 week dress-making course here where I made this gypsy dress using second-hand fabric I bought a few years ago. I've got the sewing bug now so I'm making the long-sleeved top version of this dress currently out of vintage fabric I got from here where I now work! If you're ever in the area come by and say hi - we have some amazing vintage/antique/interesting curiosities and the stock is always changing :) x

Good Girl
Something I've been thinking about doing for a while now - turning my drawings into something wearable. I was bought fabric pens for my birthday but actually decided to use sharpies instead because I have a wider range of colours so I'm hoping they'll be pretty permanent although I wouldn't mind a bit of fading to soften it slightly. I'm teeming with ideas for other ones, I want to do a rosette one like in the drawing at the top and a tartan one - turn all my drawings into t-shirts! If anyone has any advice on how to fix this better (I ironed it) or to make the line smoother etc I'd love to hear!
