Outfit: Minty Bridesmaid

Quite a long time ago I managed to score 2 sets of 1930s bridesmaids headpieces and gloves in the most beautiful pistachio ice cream colour on ebay. I haven't worn them out yet because the netting on the headpiece is sooo soft and delicate and I'd probably tear it just going outside, but I should just wear them out, there's no point secreting them away forever. I'm wearing the set with a 1960s fitted babydoll dress which has minty marabou pompoms attached and a white cotton blouse. The green and the lilac together just kills me... X

Spring has arrived!

My outfits have been getting more and more Spring-like recently, culminating in me wearing cotton trousers...out...gosh! I really really love this coral 1940s jacket I'm wearing in the last pics, the shape of it is so flattering and the colour so wonderful, I'm going to do a more detailed post on it tomorrow so you can see how glorious it is! X

A wonderful machine knitting pattern booklet I found recently... The image of the lady with high platform boots and amazing wrap-around coat have been up as inspiration in my room, so perfect! The kid in his football outfit is so cute and cosy and silly!
