Outfit: Sun Trap

So wonderful to be able to be in the garden all day at the weekends! I like to just sit outside and drink coffee and play with the cat and sometimes do some drawing, so relaxing ahh...
I made this top a couple of weeks ago out of an old skirt that was unwearable because it had some stains that wouldn't come out. I'll do another post on how I made it, but I'm basically a pretty relaxed seamstress and just made it up as I went along! I might sew some flowers on it sometime to jazz it up a bit! Hope you're all having good weekends! X

Outfit: Bright!

I'm taking too long over doing a post which lovely Tessie has put me up to, so I'll post this in the meantime. My boobs look a bit too much here, accident of fabric y'know but maybe it works more with the pin-up picture now?! I really like bright colours, gossh yes! X

Outfit: Babydoll Days

This is a really nice style of dress to wear now it's starting to get warm again. I'm wearing it with tights and cycling shorts for modesty!  Roses are starting to come out now and my chilli plant is growing it's first chilli, I'm very excited! Hope you're all having a good weekend through the sunshine and showers! X

Twists and a Rosette

Some photos of a twisty hairdo and a rosette I made a few weeks ago one evening very quickly out of scraps of fabric, floristry ribbon and a dried flower. For some reason I sewed a safety pin on to it but have never worn it, so decided to and I really like the idea of making these now... This object won't last a long time wearing, eventually it'll fall apart because it wasn't really constructed with wearing in mind, but I like that. I'll make them with seasonal flowers and scraps of textures I'm feeling inspired by at the moment and when they fall apart I'll make new ones depending on how I'm feeling and what I like at the time. I'm interested in combining the things I make with what I wear on a daily basis so here's to exploring that a lot more! X

Foxy and Dorothy

Found a fox sunbathing in the garden the other day in exactly the same spot our ginger cat sunbathes in, so we took a double take! I really like wearing gingham with gingham and always feel like Dorothy in this dress.
